How do I know it won’t hurt?
Most people find Pain-Free, Hair-Free very comfortable. While pain tolerance is subjective, many patients often describe the sensation as soothing as a “hot stone massage.” If you find it otherwise, talk with your doctor or laser technician.
Do I need to plan for time off, for the treatments?
No. Pain-Free, Hair-Free requires no “down time” or recovery time. You can have a treatment and return to work or school immediately.
Will my hair ever grow back?
The short answer is no. Once the hair follicle is damaged, it cannot grow new hair. However, there are invariably a few hair follicles that manage to partially escape the laser during each treatment. Some of these follicles may be only stunned and will need to be retreated.
Is it safe?
Hair removal is one of the aesthetic medical industry’s most well-known and researched uses of lasers. Pain-Free, Hair-Free‘s Soprano®XL laser has provided permanent hair reduction for thousands of patients worldwide, safely and successfully since it was cleared by the FDA in 2005.
How many treatments will it take?
That's a very hard question to answer. And if someone answers it with a very short, easy answer spitting out one number they are not truthful. Laser hair removal is a process. We are slowly damaging the follicles so that hopefully, well in most situations, the follicles will get damaged enough that they are not able to produce a viable hair at some point. Learn more in our BLOG.
How far apart are the treatments?
For most people the treatments for the face are every 5 weeks and every 6 weeks for all other body parts. You will go through the entire cycle which is the hair being damaged with the treatment.

Can you laser over a tattoo?
No, you cannot laser over a tattoo. The laser will explode the ink and burn the skin. An some people do not like their tattoo and ask that I do laser over it to get rid of it but we cannot do that. We will burn your skin. Please advice your laser technician on any non visible tattoos.
How dark can your skin be to laser with the Alma system?
The Alma laser is FDA approved for all skin types. The only issue that we have when lasering dark skin is when the skin in a particular area is very dark where it is hard to distinguish between the skin and the hair. The laser is looking for melanin and if the skin is just as dark as the hair then the laser has a hard time picking up the hair.
Can you laser Blonde or Gray hairs?
Every laser is attracted to one thing. With laser hair removal the laser is attracted to pigment (or melanin). Gray hair has zero pigment, blonde having very little. Most blondes have very light hair on their face, arms and legs but for many their bikini and underarm hairs have more pigment. As long as the hair looks a little darker there is a good chance that we will be able to laser them.

Benefits of MicroNeedling?
Micro needling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues.
What is MicroNeedling?
The procedure uses a pen with fine needles that puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury in order to rejuvenate the skin. The idea is that the damage caused by the needles encourages your body to send healing agents (elastin and collagen) to the area to repair them. By making tiny columns of drama in the dermis the body is forced to make new collagen to fill them in and heal them. The new collage makes the skin look and feel slicker, tighter, and more youthful.
